Le Duff Group acquires Spain's Panamar Bakery Group in its largest deal to date, extending Bridor's frozen bakery manufacturing and distribution reach across the Iberian Peninsula.

ARYZTA has announced a €40m investment in a new bun bakery near Lisbon, scheduled for commissioning in 2028. The state-of-the-art facility will work alongside the company's existing Spanish bakery to optimise supply chains and customer service across the Iberian Peninsula.

Spanish bakery group Monbake has appointed former Reckitt director Borja Lomba Sorrondegui as CEO, replacing Aurelio Antuna who becomes chairman. The leadership change comes as the CVC-owned company continues European expansion.
