Warburtons has added four products to its portfolio this August, expanding two established ranges as the Bolton-based bakery marks its 150th year in business.
The new additions include a Tiger Bloomer with Sourdough and Tiger Rolls, alongside two lines under the 'Our Dough' sourdough sub-brand: Soft White Rolls and Thin Bagels.
The Tiger Bloomer with Sourdough carries an RRP of £2.00 and launched in Tesco on 31st August, with wider retail availability from September. Tiger Rolls follow on 20th September at £1.90 RRP. Both Tiger products are positioned as premium lunchbox and evening meal options.

The 'Our Dough' extensions apply sourdough fermentation to softer, more accessible formats. The Thin Bagels (£1.85 RRP) also launched on 31st August in major retailers, with Soft White Rolls (£1.90 RRP) following on 20th September. The range is aimed at everyday breakfast and lunch occasions rather than the artisan end of the market.
The August launches form part of a broader 2026 programme that has already included Flatbreads, Pizza Crumpets, Protein Bagels and Brioche Hot Dog Rolls. Warburtons has also announced investment of over £100 million in new bakeries, distribution infrastructure and product development.
Jonathan Warburton, Chairman, said:
"This year, we're celebrating that heritage by looking forward, innovating to meet the changing tastes of consumers and introducing our biggest ever raft of new products. We are particularly excited to have entered new categories with our Brioche Rolls and Buns, as well as significantly enhancing our Gluten-Free range, and expanding the popular sourdough across more of our portfolio."
Established in 1876, Warburtons operates 11 bakeries and 16 depots across Great Britain and supplies 18,500 retail customers daily. The business is currently run by the fifth generation of the Warburton family.
