Oregon-based artisan bakery Ocemiam has launched a direct-to-consumer online store, marking a distribution expansion from regional retail to nationwide delivery across the United States.

The Beaverton operation produces what it brands as "French Baby Cakes"—individual portion cakes in five flavours (raspberry, almond, chocolate, pistachio, hazelnut) alongside a banana bread line formulated with French flour. Products are positioned as premium, naturally-formulated pastries using what founder Kevin Ouattara describes as "French baking techniques."

The October launch targets the North American holiday season, with products available in bundle configurations shipped directly from the Portland-area facility. The company has established a dedicated channel for bulk orders via email (online@ocemiam.com) and is running promotional pricing for the initial launch period.

The move represents a shift from local retail presence to a national direct-shipping model for the small-scale bakery operation. Products are marketed for both consumer purchase and corporate gifting applications, targeting office functions and seasonal entertaining.

The company offers a customer incentive programme for first-time online purchasers.
