The International Baking Industry Exposition returns to Las Vegas from 13-17 September, positioning itself as the grain-based food industry's largest trade event in the Western Hemisphere. With over 1,000 manufacturers and suppliers confirmed, the event targets the complete baking supply chain from equipment and technology through to ingredients and packaging solutions.

Million-Dollar Deals on the Show Floor
IBIE operates as what organisers term a "working show" where substantial business transactions occur daily. The event brings together manufacturers, suppliers and commercial bakers in a format designed for direct procurement and partnership development. The exposition is jointly owned by the American Bakers Association and Bakery Equipment Manufacturers and Allieds, with proceeds reinvested into industry development.
AI Takes Centre Stage in 250+ Sessions
This year's educational component has grown significantly, featuring over 250 IBIEducate sessions and demonstrations included with registration. The programming addresses operational challenges facing industrial bakers, including artificial intelligence implementation, automation integration, formulation optimisation, and shifting consumer behaviour patterns.
The Wholesale Bakers Centre offers programming specifically tailored to commercial operations, whilst the Innovation Showcase debuts new products across ingredients, equipment, packaging, and safety systems that have not previously appeared at IBIE.
Five Nations Battle for Paris
Several competitive elements distinguish this year's event. The Coupe du Monde de la Boulangerie brings national teams from Brazil, Canada, Ecuador, Mexico and the United States to compete across boulangerie, viennoiserie and artistic bread categories. Winners advance to represent the Western Hemisphere at the World Cup of Baking in Paris.
The newly introduced Panettone World Cup allows expert bakers to present creations for live evaluation, with successful participants progressing to global finals in Milan during November 2026.
Pet Food and Snacks Enter the Mix
Two new specialty pavilions address the snack food and pet food sectors within the broader baking industry framework. These dedicated areas reflect the industry's expansion beyond traditional bread and confectionery production into adjacent markets that utilise similar manufacturing processes and equipment.
The BEST in Baking Industry Awards programme recognises suppliers and bakeries demonstrating progress in sustainability, workforce development, sanitation, packaging innovation, plant efficiency and automation implementation.

Practical Information
Registration remains open online until 10 September with savings of up to 23% available for advance booking. On-site registration continues throughout the event period at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The exposition runs alongside various networking events, including industry-specific demonstrations and supplier showcases.
For industrial bakers evaluating new equipment, ingredients, or operational technologies, IBIE provides direct access to manufacturers and suppliers in a concentrated format designed for efficient business development and procurement planning.
