GNT has expanded its EXBERRY® Organics range with a new pink colour designed for manufacturers seeking plant-based alternatives in food and beverage production.
EXBERRY® Organics Brilliant Pink is a liquid concentrate derived from purple sweet potatoes grown to meet EU and US organic standards. The colour uses physical processing methods only, allowing manufacturers to use simple label declarations such as "concentrate (sweet potato*)" in the EU and "organic vegetable juice for colour" in the US.
The formulation maintains stability during high-temperature processing and performs in low-pH environments. Applications include beverages, gummies, chewy toffees, frozen desserts, baked items, yoghurt and fruit preparations.
Anne van der Meijde, Product Manager at GNT Group, noted that the organic sector is experiencing renewed consumer interest as people seek more natural and sustainable products. She explained that this new colouring helps manufacturers create organic products without compromising ingredient lists.
The EXBERRY® Organics portfolio now includes pink, red, purple, blue, green, orange and yellow shades across different product categories.
GNT states that its technical team works with manufacturers to identify suitable colouring solutions for specific project requirements. Further technical information is available through the company's website at www.exberry.com.
