Food Alert, a UK-based food safety and compliance services provider, has named Fraser Parramint as its new Managing Director. Parramint replaces David Bashford, who is retiring after 26 years with the company.

The appointment comes as Food Alert continues its national expansion, responding to increased demand for regulatory support and compliance services across the food industry.

Industry Experience

Parramint brings over 25 years of senior leadership experience in food and hospitality. His career includes roles at Marks & Spencer, Byron and The Restaurant Group. Most recently, he served as Group Operations Director at The Bread Factory, where he implemented operational strategies that improved efficiency and production whilst increasing profitability.

"Food Alert has a deserved reputation for excellence," said Parramint. "In a climate where compliance, safety, and risk management have never been more critical, I look forward to working with the team to support our clients and deliver outstanding service."

Company Background

Food Alert has operated for over 30 years, providing food safety, health and safety and regulatory compliance services to the food service and hospitality sectors. The company serves hundreds of clients across hospitality, retail, and food manufacturing.

The business offers food hygiene and safety software, technical consultancy, product data management, on-site support, and compliance advice covering audits and HACCP development.

Outgoing Managing Director David Bashford noted Parramint's cross-sector experience:

"His background across hospitality, retail, and manufacturing gives him a unique perspective and makes him well-suited to lead Food Alert into its next phase."

The leadership transition reflects the company's focus on scaling operations whilst maintaining its compliance services across the UK food industry.
