The baked goods and cereal sector represents one of the most dynamic and strategic areas of the food industry and will be among the key players at the next edition of Cibus Tec, scheduled to take place in Parma (Italy) from October 27 to 30, 2026.

The event, organized by Koeln Parma Exhibitions — a joint venture between Koelnmesse GmbH and Fiere di Parma SpA — is recognized as an international platform for innovation, now also focused on industrial baking and processed cereal products.

The sector’s technology industry has long expressed the need for a trade show capable of listening to, showcasing and enhancing the most advanced technological solutions for the production, processing and packaging of baked goods. Cibus Tec has been chosen to meet this demand: finally offering a credible, international, and forward-looking platform, filling a gap and establishing itself as a benchmark for the entire sector.

In its most recent edition, held in 2023, the event welcomed 1,200 exhibitors from 30 countries, over 38,000 professionals from 120 nations, and 3,000 top buyers selected from 80 countries — thanks to the most comprehensive invitation and hospitality program dedicated to food & beverage professionals.

These figures reinforce Cibus Tec’s positioning as an international hub and a generator of value for companies in the foodtech sector.

The journey towards strengthening the bakery and cereal segment within Cibus Tec is already underway: alongside a rich array of exhibitors offering packaging solutions for baked goods, major players in production technologies are now joining the fray, marking a significant turning point.

Projects and collaborations of this caliber stem from a solid and shared vision. Cibus Tec is part of a group formed by Fiere di Parma and Koelnmesse — two organizations behind some of the world’s leading food events, such as Anuga, Cibus, Tuttofood, ISM, Thaifex and top-tier foodtech exhibitions like Cibus Tec and Anuga FoodTec. It’s a one-of-a-kind network, bringing together expertise, strategic vision and global connections.

It is precisely thanks to its distinctive features — an international approach, a strong focus on market evolution, continuous communication and a well-structured invitation and hospitality program — that Cibus Tec has been selected as the benchmark platform for the bakery industry as well. This is a sector that will be at the heart of targeted investments and strategic activities, with the goal of significantly increasing the presence of industry professionals from companies that will join our established visitors, including: Ab Mauri, Agugiaro & Figna Molini, Arcor, Atlantic Grupa, Babbi, Balconi, Balocco, Barilla, Bauli, Bimbo, Cargill, Cereal Docks, Colussi, Dal Colle, De Cecco, F. Divella, Ferrero, Ferrero Mangimi, Galbusera, Grandi Pastai Italiani, Italpizza, La Pizza +1, Loacker, Martino Rossi, Molino Casillo, Molino Grassi, Molino Spadoni, Monviso Group, Morato Pane, Oropan, Pastificio Garofalo, Puratos, Roncadin, and Vicenzi.

Behind every great baked product lies tangible innovation. Cibus Tec is not just a technology showcase

— it is the place where industrial technologies for bakery and cereals find their space, their audience, and their growth. It is a meeting point where relationships are built, visions are shared and the sector’s future challenges are tackled together.

Ahead of Cibus Tec 2026, Cibus Tec Forum will take place on October 28–29, 2025 in Parma — an innovative and functional exhibition-conference dedicated to cutting-edge technology for the food and beverage industry. Running concurrently, Labotec will be held: the first and only event in Italy entirely focused on laboratory and analytical technologies and solutions.
